I am Karina, and I am from right here in Hicksville, NY. I am a veterinary assistant for MIAH and have been in the veterinary field for 6 months now. While I am newer to veterinary, I am no stranger to the animal care industry having volunteered for a local shelter for over 7 years! I have a special interest in animal rescue and love helping animals as much as I can. Dr. Kornet inspired me to work with animals and I haven’t looked back. Outside of work, I love cooking, shopping, and watching TV with my 8 dogs: Molly, Lola, Paulie, Quill, Wrinkles, T-Bone, and Winston.
